WeMade FOX completed a heroic comeback to win WEM 2010 from the lower bracket by defeat SK Gaming in back-to-back maps. The South Koreans faced the team who had defeated them in the upper bracket on nuke first but ran the table completely to rush into the championship match in only 18 rounds. On tuscan SK once more won the pistol only to find the South Koreans relentless as they drove forwards and won round after round to clinch the title.

SK Gaming WeMade FOX (nuke - 2:13, 0:3)

glow had guaranteed Wemade would win the title if they won the pistol round. In fact they lost the opening pistol round only to win a pure glock eco in the next round forcing SK to eco twice. From there on it was all about Wemade FOX and only about Wemade FOX. The South Koreans would only lose one more round in the entire map as they ran off round after round on the terrorist side.

When the first half ended with an incredible 13:2 scoreline it seemed certain WEM 2010 would be going to a championship match for both teams on tuscan. That proved to be the case as Wemade FOX closed out the second half.

SK Gaming WeMade FOX (tuscan - 7:8, 4:8)

After the short break between maps SK Gaming looked to have regrouped as they won the pistol round and then set off on a run to get to 6:2 on their T side. Wemade came alive at that point though and began winning every sort of round imaginable. 2v3s against planted bombs, retakes, trading man for man and still coming out on top. The South Koreans were doing it all and SK struggled to respond or find an answer for the grinding style of play they faced.

Unlike nuke SK did manage to keep apace for most of tuscan and take rounds so that it was never a one horse race. The South Koreans reached 13 rounds too early though and even some rounds back to the Swedes seemed too little too late. When Wemade FOX finally won they went crazy screaming and celebrating. For players like solo and termi this is an international title which has been the better part of a decade in the waiting. So many times second place and yet the South Koreans are now the champions of WEM 2010.
