SK Gaming through to grand final of WEM

ImageSK Gaming eased past WeMade FOX to book a spot in the grand final of WEM 2010.

SK Gaming have continued their upper bracket run at the World eSports Masters 2010 event, this time disposing of WeMade FOX 16-7 on de_dust2. The victory moves them on to the grand final of the tournament.

The game opened up in close fashion with no team being able to string together a set of rounds. Eventually, SK Gaming began to pull away, with stand-in Marcus 'Delpan' Larsson being the key man for a number of situations including a crucial B site plant.

With the score at 10-4 the last round of the first half went the way of the Terrorists of SK, most notably thanks to Delpan once again clearing out the B bombsite with an impressive double kill, leaving the rest of the SK team to wrap up the half.

Delpan played a key part in the second pistol round, picking up three headshots, but despite some fightback from the Koreans SK Gaming's seven round lead was too much. WeMade FOX picked up a couple of rounds but it was hardly a performance that could inspire a monumental comeback.

SK Gaming now sit in the grand final of WEM for a shot at the $22,000 first place prize. They will find out who their opponents will be tomorrow, while the final takes place on Sunday.
