WeMade FOX 's emphatic 16:4 victory over 
Evil Geniuses in the first round of WEM 2010 star player Kun-chul 'solo' Kang revealed as part of a video interview that his team had additional motivation to want to win the match since they felt that EG had laughed at them upon being drawn against them at the bracket drawing ceremony.
solo talked about the large margin victory over EG and the significance of playing it on inferno, widely considered WeMade FOX's best map, since the two teams have played so many close games in the past. He spoke to the potential of another inferno matchup in the next round against either fnatic or FX. FX defeated his team in three maps at e-Stars but fell heavily on inferno while fnatic have quite often been upset by WeMade FOX across all maps in the two team's history.
Following the tournament an additional video interview will be posted with him in which he answers more historical themed questions about his whole career so expect to hear more from the South Korean CS wizard.

I don't see why anyone would come here and throw misplaced sarcasm in order to defend EG, especially someone who did not take part to the ceremony.
If you actually watched the interview Solo gave context of what EG did what they did from his point of view. He and his teammates (WeMade FOX) were at the hotel and when EG found out the Koreans were drawn against them they began to laugh according to him. I don't think you can blame him for at least just telling what he saw without giving any of his wild accusations or assumptions that you are doing. Solo didn't just see EG laugh randomly somewhere and make an assertion that they were disrespecting his team to SK-Gaming in a video interview.

I took a quick look at some WMF demos tonight but I feel like I'm too tired to really get anything out of it so I'll take another look tomorrow after we're done with the mandatory opening ceremony in the morning."
The strat caller basically said even though his team has the Koreans' number that he's still going to take them seriously. So, again, I doubt EG meant too much by the laugh but also can't blame Solo for doing what he did.
Anyways best wishes to both teams, should be a great tournament. EG faces Fnatic again (loser goes home) and hopefully the Americans can repeat their MSI BEAT IT performance.
