The former WC3 player Naniwa was removed from the German EPS for amassing too many Penalty Points. has always been a somewhat controversial figure, dating back to his WC3 days. But the attitude he is infamous for backfired this week, according to the Team Liquid forum. The Swede moved to Germany, partially to play in EPS, but he has now been kicked out of the league for receiving too many Penalty Points.
Naniwa amassed an incredible 25 minor points, which are awarded for offences like forgetting a statement, not uploading replays and failing to use wild cards in time. According to the EPS rules, each minor point reduces the player's potential prize money by 1%. Once a player reduces his prize by 30% he is removed from the league. What put Naniwa over the limit was a major penalty, awarded for missing a game against Sascha 'GoOdy' Lupp. What makes it worse is that he had already postponed once before.
