The North-American division of the ESL, the National ESL, have announced the Go4SC2 cup series. The National ESL will be hosting two Go4SC2 cups a week, one taking place on Wednesday the other on Sunday.

In the Wednesday cups, the top 8 finishers will earn points and at the end of every month, the 8 players with the highest point totals will qualify for the Go4SC2 monthly finals and a chance to win $200.

The Sunday cups differ from the Wednesday cups in that the winner will receive $50 for first place and the top 16 will earn points towards the monthly finals. The monthly finals are set to take place on the Thursday following the last Sunday cup of the month and both cups (Wednesday, Sunday) will allow a maximum of 512 players to compete every week.

This concept is not new to the ESL as they have been hosting European Go4SC2 cups for quite some time now, with the majority of Europe's best players competing on a regular basis. The National ESL's Go4SC2 bi-weekly cups are open to anyone with a North-American Battle.Net account.
