Brainbox - a Korean vendor of computer parts - has announced a Stracraft II team tournament. Sponsored by a shopping website called Danawa, the league is designed to fill in the gap between GSL seasons. Eight teams will fight over four days (October 13 to October 16) for the sake of about $2500 USD first prize. The tournament will be in a simple knockout format and will be broadcast live on GomTV.

As you can see, the list is very impressive and will involve pretty much every big name SC2 player from Korea, including GSL winner Won Ki 'FruitDealer' Kim. The idea of entertaining fans before GSL begins again seems likely to be fulfilled.
