Natus Vincere are the WCG champions and owners of gold medals. 2010's best team once more proved they had that little extra needed in the most important moments as they edged an mTw who mounted heroic comeback after heroic comeback but fell short in the final stanza of the third map, double overtime.

The first map saw Na`Vi controlling the action and giving mTw nothing as the Ukrainians put up big numbers on the T side and followed it up with smother CT defense and retakes.

tuscan had Na`Vi reach 14 and look like they would seal up the victory without too much trouble but mTw zoned in and executed to grind out round and round until they had incredibly won the map 16:14 and earned a chance to play for the gold medal.

Sometimes teams get psychologically damaged when they lose 14:16 after being up big but for Na`Vi train has always been a welcome home where things go their way and they can make plays few other teams can. Na`Vi again charged to the big lead and mTw again resurrected their chances by peeling off round after round. Even in defeat this was a great series for mTw's ave as he successfully got into a flow of calling which put his time in prime position to win the event.

When mTw pulled the game into overtime it seemed as though Na`Vi reset as they went back to dominating with a 3:0 CT half but mTw returned the favour and sent us into a second overtime. In what had become one of the all time great matches and final matches Na`Vi 3:0'd again, this time as terrorist, and the whole world knew the Ukainrians were almost certain to win. This they did immediately and all of a sudden the Ukraine had its first ever gold medal in Counter-Strike and Na`Vi sealed their place both as one of the greatest teams ever but as one of the most successful also, possessing that killer instinct to win in the biggest of pressure moments.

Na`Vi have done the seemingly impossible and won all the majors in a single year with their wins at IEM IV World Championships, ESWC and now WCG.
