Fomos is reporting that a new StarCraft II team has been formed featuring a number of well known older progamers and led by a former Proleague team manager. Won Joongwook was formerly the coach of the Pantech Curitel and WeMade Fox StarCraft professional teams. STARTALE will apparently become active in October.

Sung Joon 'July' Park (also known as JulyZerg) is a three time OSL champion and received the second ever golden mouse for that feat. Each of his OSL titles came within the month of July. He is famous for his mutalisk micro control and overall aggressive play with Zerg.

ZergLee (also known as Sigamari) was a successful and well known Zerg teamplayer alongside IntoTheRainBOw for SKT T1. He later played for KHAN and helped them a runnersup spot in the 2005 Proleague Season 2 final.

Sung Jae 'IntoTherainbow' Kim was an influential Protoss player early in the game's competitive scene, known for his use of the reaver unit. He was a member of the Ideal Space team along with legends BoxeR, NaDa and YellOw. Later he moved on to Orion, which became SKT T1, with BoxeR. The team won the 2005 SKY Proleague and finished 2nd in the 2006 edition. He retired from esports in September of 2009.

So Myung 'Silver' Shim was a Zerg player who is best known for being the runnerup to the bonjwa sAviOr in the Pringles MSL Season 2 final. He lost 1:3 to a sAviOr was dominating the StarCraft world as few had done before or have since. On his way to that 2nd place he defeated the likes of Kingdom and Nal_rA.

Doh Hyun 'Control' Na (also known as Silent_Control) is a Terran player whose best accomplishments were making it to the 3rd place game in two OSLs back-to-back. In the NHN OSL he defeated JJu to take 3rd and in the Gillette OSL he lost 2:3 to bonjwa iloveoov. He also made it to the 3rd place game of the 2003 WCG, losing to the Canadian Grrrr to miss out on a medal.

Silent_Control is also infamous for an incidence in the 1st round of the Gillette OSL where his game was delayed and while waiting he fainted and had to be taken to hospital where he was diagnosed with pneumonia and lack of rest and nutrition. Rather than take the default win his opponent, GoRush, allowed a rematch and Silent_Control managed to win it.

Won Joongwook was involved int he founding of WeMade FOX. He was with the team throughout sponsor changes from SG Family to Pantech and Curitel Curriors, Pantech EX and WeMade FOX.

Ssoja is a protoss player who has competed in the recent GSL.

It is worth noting that all of these players, including July, have seen their best days pass them by long ago in StarCraft. Most retried from the game and even July, a multiple time StarLeague winner, was on the B team for STX Soul at one point.
