Who cares? If this was a hottest male contest i'd vote for a laugh, if the girls want to do it i'll vote for them. For there to be any kind of equality you can't get all sensitive about the little things or you're being just as prejudiced as someone that genuinely thinks women are inferior or whatever.
I don't see that this labels female gamers, and as Kolpaz says if they don't mind why should you? They don't need 'protecting' from this stuff otherwise they wouldn't be participating or in e-sports in the first place. Let them do what they want and stop making a big deal about it.
@Bearbel how can you call them pro gamers when they are no better then the average male cs player? The only reason this scene exists is cause it draws a lot of attention, purely for the fact that they are girls who are playing games, while they don't have any physical/mental disadvantage in e-sport. Girls should be treaten equally to boys here, nothing more.
My point was that they get paid for playing games just because they are females not because they are good at it, and it's not fair compared to the other pro gamers :')
Give me 1 good reason why girl gamers should be splitted from male competition, what POSSIBLE disadvantage do they have?
you are so dumb that it hurts.
no doubt there are other things they're better at - empathy, esthetic appreciation, verbal language, generally better social skills. Unfortunately, these advantages can not by used in counterstrike, so that's why male progamers are better than female .

Aside from that, this is probably the stupidest thing you could do for female gaming. Just take it a step further and put these ladies in swimsuits so you can make ESports calendars and so males can watch them on stage in play matches and not the games they're playing... cause that's basically what's being insinuated with a competition like this. I'm sorry, but I don't remember the last time any ESports site ran a beauty contest for male competitors... probably because all of the top male players wouldn't even be considered. For a female gaming scene that tries to distance themselves from having looks determine where they fall in line of competitive gamers, something like this does nothing but set them back. Had to sign in for the first time in months just to make sure I could tell everyone how stupid this shit is.
