Following Evil Geniuses 's victory at Beat IT, in China, Danny 'fRoD' Montaner talked to HLTV.org in a video interview.

The interview lasts 13m25s and fRoD addresses how his team played against fnatic in the final, his level of AWPing at the moment and staying grounded as a team. Despite winning in China fRoD feels that his team must look to correct their mistakes from the event and move on to the next one. He also explains the difference for his team playing against the likes of fnatic as opposed to Asian teams. fRoD explains his expectations for playing the WCG qualifier with tuBBy in place of tactician lurppis.

EG finished the first day of Beat IT coming out of their group in second, following a loss to Lions.swe. In the semi-final the Americans met the Chinese team TyLoo and played a close three map series. The final saw them defeat fnatic in the first map, lose an overtime game in the second and clean up on train to take the title along with $15,000.
