National ESL have revealed the groups for the IEM North American Championship Counter-Strike tournament and SK Gaming female have been drawn into group B alongside top contenders Team EG.

Six teams will earn a spot at the LAN finals in New York from the online tournament, with the four group winners gaining direct qualification while the second and third place finishers will battle it out between themselves to find the other two advancing teams.

Rounds one and two begin on September 8 at 2:00am CET with round three and the relegation games kicking off a day later, starting from 1:00am CET.

A further two teams from South America, set to be announced later this week, will join up with the six North American finalists.

The IEM season 5 North American Championship Finals will be hosted at Comic-Con in New York from October 8 to 10. Counter-Strike 1.6, Quake Live and StarCraft II are all set to feature at the competition with $59,600 being handed out over the weekend.
