ImageThe Oslo Lions Swedish Counter-Strike division are to attend the WCG Grand Finals next month in America.

Just over a week has passed since Björn 'threat' Pers and co joined up for the Norwegian based organisation Oslo Lions, and they have already managed to take a gold at an event. Two days ago, the lineup attended ASUS Summer 2010 in Ukraine, where in the process of winning took down the likes of forZe and k23 to take the title and win 10,000 dollars.

It has now been made known that the Lions will be attending one of the most prestigious events on the eSport calender, the World Cyber Games. Whilst under the H2k-Gaming name, the side participated in the WCG Nordic qualifier in Helsinki, where although they lost in the semi-final to SK Gaming, still however secured a spot in the finals.

Prior to the decision, there was doubt as to whether the side could participate in the finals due to them switching organisations. But WCG regulations dictate that the slot belongs to the players and not the organisations, therefore the side are allowed to compete in the finals.

Swedish Lions will attend WCG 2010 with the following lineup:

SE Richard 'Xizt' Landström
SE Björn 'threat' Pers
SE Emil 'FYRR73' Karlsson
SE Frej 'kHRYSTAL' Sjöström
SE Niklas 'niko' Johansson

The WCG Grand Finals will take place next from September 30th to October 3rd at the LA Convention, in Los Angeles, America.
