The CS 1.6 teams have been announced for the WCG Pan-American Championship taking place August 27-29th in São Paulo, Brazil.

The CS 1.6 teams have been announced for the WCG Pan-American Championship taking place August 27-29th in São Paulo, Brazil.The World Cyber Games have returned this year with another Pan-American Championship. This year the event will be taking place in São Paulo, Brazil, where as in the 3 previous years, it has taken place at various locations in Mexico. The event will hold tournaments in SC:BW, CS 1.6, FIFA 10 and Guitar Hero 5 where players from 11 countries (Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Panama, Peru and the United States) will battle it out for a piece of the $10,000 prize pot.
In 2009 Mexico won nine medals followed by Canada with four and Brazil with two. In 2008 the United States were the champions.

in one theory Localstrike a local host of servers would try to get the ESCW and the WCG qualifier but they can't without sponsors
but they could get the KODE5 qualifier so Wild Ineters qualify and go to the gran final ^^
