ImageNorth-American organization compLexity have added their first StarCraft II player in Canadian Strieb "Silver" Roman.

One of North-America's top gaming organizations compLexity have taken their first step into the RTS market picking up StarCraft II player CA Strieb 'silver' Roman. As of now, only EG and coL are the top American teams with SC2 players, while many top European organizations jumped into the scene back in the beta.

It appears that Strieb 'silver' Roman will be making his first appearance in the up and coming MLG Raleigh event. He also is on his way to qualifying for the IEM American Championship in which he has won an online qualification cup.

The National ESL interviewed compLexity's newest player:

So, you were a very talented WarCraft 3 player in the past, even topping the 1v1 ladder at one point. Tell me about your experiences in WarCraft 3 and what you've done in that scene.

"I enjoyed playing WarCraft 3 a lot. I played as a random player because I loved having the element of surprise. I would organize my strategies to force my opponent into tech paths that I would always be one step ahead of. Though, through this method, I was never able to consistently beat the best players and so I just stayed top of the ladder having fun with new strategies.

I also played a lot of team games and had a lot of fun with players such as Ultimas, Fartcoma, Grunt, Prid, and Captain Mordo. I ran a clan called The Moral Minority (tMM) for about 3 years but it dissolved because of inactivity. It was a clan founded on the basis that you could be a good player and not be an asshole :)."

How did you go from WarCraft 3 to StarCraft 2?

"Well, there was a long break in between as I stopped playing WarCraft 3 in 2006. I occupied myself with a lot of Civilization games as I love empire building and history. I also explored many other parts of life but I have to say I have missed the feeling of competitive strategy games! I started getting into StarCraft 2 when the beta came out. I didn't have the beta until March so i spent my time watching games and thinking about strategies, in addition to deciding Terran was the race that best fit my style."
