SK Sansibar narrowly missed out on qualifying for Blizzcon as they finished 3rd behind aAa and LCA.Yesterday turned into a good day for two ex-members of SK, while the current lineup of SK Gaming SANSIBAR were left wondering what might have been. After narrowly beating Inflame's L.C. Action on Saturday, Sansibar struggled to match that performance. In the crucial lower bracket final they went down three maps to one and were eliminated from the tournament.
Inflame's team took the Blizzcon spot and proceeded to the final where they met another ex-SK player in the shape of Alexis 'Enigmz' Martin. It was the Frenchman who shined, leading his against All authority team to their own 3-1 victory and a first place finish on top of their already-claimed Blizzcon invite. On top of all that, the French team went undefeated through the tournament, making them the main European team to look out for when the finals roll round.
Despite SK's disappointing 3rd place finish they will surely be happier than x6tence and Team Dignitas . Both teams were touted as favourites for the tournament but both failed to live up to expectation. Dignitas were particularly disappointing, being sent home without a win to their name after defeats to LAN newcomers in both their matches.
If you missed any of the results you can find SK's coverage right here.

Tho I believe we'll see both teams fighting each other at Blizzcon grand finals, unless Korean RMP still manages to pull some tricks out of their sleeves.
gj Sansibar considering lsd is a hardcounter and they pulled off a win against L.C.A. earlier in the torunament.
and i dont know why zechs is saying 3rd place finish is disappointing.
Coming 3rd after 2x LSD lead by former SK players shows how good SK teams are in generell andt thats a succes for SK imo.
Fanboi sk more btw. "OH GOD THEY WON ONCE AGAINST INFLAME, IT SHOWS HOW GOOD THEY ARE!!!!". Still more respect for inflame for carrying such bad player as dailye.
Also inflame, you're embarassing... It might be fun to flame and act childish at lesser and smaller events and at the Internet, but using vulgar language at a official event is just sad. Nothing else.
Half the teams at regionals were there because of their comp alone and nothing else.
Barb's team were the only deserving team there to go to Blizzcon, but jk LSD #1
Warriors are so OP they dominated right? isn't like LSD finished 1st and 2nd no, it was warrior teams who raped and won, and I'm sure warriors will rape LSD's at Blizzcon, eh? /sarcasm.
Warriors are so OP, x6 used TWO and still couldn't win. So fucking OP LAWL AMG!
Lolz...
Gotta love the "Warriors are so OP, x6 used TWO and still couldn't win. So fucking OP LAWL AMG!" comment.
You don't think something is wrong when you can use two of the same classes in a 3s team and still get in the top 5 at the biggest official tournament? Once again, idiot.
Now who's the idiot? Inflame raged when he lost to SK saying warriors are fucking op and he can't do shit, not only does he go on to beat TWO of them in the same match after that, he then goes on to beat SK so how the fuck do you explain that? I know you can't help being dumb, being Swedish, and all but seriously........
