I am RSS.
I started off playing EASY MODE, after my brother convinced me it was a good game mode to start on.
I now try to play Normal Mode, and it is very hard, as I cannot shake the Easy Mode ways.
I have played a lot of Normal Mode before stats reset, but the people were mean, and it was very hard, because all of my friends played Easy Mode.
I would VERY much like someone to introduce me into Normal Mode, that can teach me what to do, and set me off on a good foot. I would very much appreciate a chance at being good at HoN, because I enjoy this game alot.
Thank you,
RSS.
I play HON casually, most of the time it's just with a couple of friends. And since everyone loves playing killers and they are all about that K:D ratio, I usually like playing support. My accounts name is Mustache and my most played is Demented Shaman haha.
I know most of the basics of support and stuff, buying courier and wards (the whole game lol), babysitting your carry if you lane with them, harass the enemies in your lane so your carry can get all the farm and last hits, heal the sh-- out of your carry, deny your own creeps as much as you can, ward runes and pulls, probably never have a really good CK lol, blah blah blah. I barely play roamers or carrys or semi-carrys.
I wanted to enter this competition to experience pro players actually playing. Being a casual player, I mostly have to play pubs with friends and I haven't been in one in-house. This would help me improve my play, hopefully help me get into a higher psr bracket or in-house games, or even into a clan that scrims a lot. It would be nice to see how a pro plays and learn as much as I can from that.
Thanks,
Mustache
I love HoN I played a lot of dota, even was tda mod before hon came out. Well I would love to lane with SK cause I would like to be more then a competitive player. So learning some of my flaws early game would mean so much to me. Since early game has such a huge impact on the whole game would help my game ten fold.
I am really trying to step up my HoN-gaming.I am currently stuck in the mid 1600 and dying too much really. So what I need help with is everything between mind games and to take my playstyle up a notch with cancelling attack animations etc. Currently I see myself as a support player. But I really want to explore the carry role to, to be completly dominating a game.
I started playing HoN in August 2009, and before that only a couple of games in DOTA. I currently feel that my learning curve is heading down. So the help from you would really make me step up a notch and find this game even more exciting. My target is the competetive scene, and it will always be that. Doesn't matter what game I am playing, I want to play the game on the high end and not casual. I want to join an inhouse clan and explore those matches. And sometime in the future I'll take the step to something competetive.
I am currently unemployed and I not studying so I've got all the freetime in the world to do this. I hope that I will hear from you!
Regards,
Hardy.
I would love to have the opportunity to play a lane with bdiz. SK is one of my favorite clans to watch on honcast, and i feel like I could learn a lot from seeing a competitive player playing in-game, and having bdiz give me personalized advice on my gameplay.
I would love to win this contest. I've been playing HoN since the beta days, and I've been working hard on improving my skills throughout my matches. I alternate between watching top-tier HonCast games (where I first got introduced to the SK Gaming clan), watching competitive players' replays, viewing guides and trying to apply all the ideas and concepts I learn in-game.
I feel that laning with bdiz and receiving professional tips and advice about the game would be a great performance booster for which I would be extremely grateful, for you would allow me to further enjoy what has become my favorite game by far. I'm the kind of player who likes to try different strategies, different hero types and different roles and while bdiz is known for his competitive games and the skills he displays in them, I can also say that I admire his audacity towards unusual hero choices in other high level games (for example Armadon, Balphagore, Keeper of the Forest, Ophelia, Warbeast, Sand Wraith... heroes never seen in tournaments). I can certainly appreciate a player who likes to keep the gameplay fresh and spice it up like this, especially if it's from the top-tier levels which sometimes tend to be more conservative.
You can expect be coaching a respectful and listening student who, just likes you, simply wants to make the game more fun that it already is, whether we'll be working on strategies, hero roles, farming, ganking, etc.
Good luck to the entire SK Gaming team, and good luck to me, because I want to win this :)
I'm really interested in playing hon at a professional level. I've been watching replays, honcast, and massing games with most of my free time. I think I'm a good candidate for this contest because if you choose me, I wont be a waste of a couple of hours of your time. In the past, I've proven that I can play at the highest levels of competitive gaming. Out of all the games I've played competitively, I find hon the most natural for me to improve at.
In the end, its all fun for me. When it comes down to it, I enjoy team play and hon in general. I look forward to playing with Bdiz and having a good time, as well as improving my play. Thank you for your consideration and good luck to all participants of the contest :D
