Since announcing their IEM Season 5, the Electronic Sports League have been unveiling pieces of information about the season, coming in the form of events, games and prize money. Their last announcement: StarCraft II become the third main title of the event, joining Counter Strike and QuakeLive. As well as that, ESL also revealed that a TV show would be broadcasted on Eurosport, a channel which operates in 59 countries.

Throughout the season, ESL will produce and broadcast multiple episodes of their show, which will focus on "one event, one game and one star player of the Intel Extreme Masters". The show will also take a look behind-the-scene of players, seeing how they prepare for events of this scale.
