mouz dropped to lower by CnB

Imagemousesports have been upset by the Brazilians of CnB, made up of a number of ex-MiBR members, in the upper bracket.

The proud Brazilians of CnB came into their upper bracket quarter-final match with a solid amount of collective experience behind them and the confidence they could beat Mousesports and move on. Throw in the map being dust2 and mouz having two stand-ins, one a retired player and the other unknown outside of Germany, and you've got the right recipe for an upset.

CnB have four players who have at one point in time played under the MiBR banner and while some of them may not have been mainstays in that famous team they have picked up enough experience to be able to play with confidence against well known teams.

Mousesports 11:16 CnB (dust2 - 7:8, 4:8)

mouz got the lead early but once CnB got in the game it was back and forth for the whole of the Brazilian's terrorist side, ending with them up by a single round. Against elite level competition that few terrorist rounds will kill you every time but this mouz team is not a well oiled machine offensively in light of their stand-in situation.

Once CnB got their defenses locked in the Germans could do little, every time they pushed catwalk prd's AWP was in place and all the flashbangs from the CTs were exploding in the right areas. Add in CT players pushing the lower B tunnels and the catwalk players occasionally played pushed up and mouz could little but pull off one failed offensive strategy after another until it was game.

mouz will now face mythiX eSport in the lower bracket to stay alive at GameGune.
