SK Gaming's Managing Director Alexander "TheSlaSH" T. Müller explained:
"When Intel came to us asking for permission to use Shane for their 2010/2011 campaign, we were thrilled. We are more than happy seeing his familiar face next to our logo on those posters and banners. It is an honor to be a part of this."
The ESL website explained their own thoughts and hinted at another upcoming poster:
"Shane 'rapha' Hendrixson from SK Gaming is ESL's first Quake Live World Champion ever. At CeBIT 2010 the 21 year old rapha beat everyone there was to beat and lost only five maps out of 23 in the entire tournament.
He was the man to beat during the whole Season 4 of the Intel Extreme Masters winning both Global Challenges at gamescom and Dubai and placing second at the American Championship Finals, where he lost the only final match. He proved multiple times that he is the world's best Quake player and a true Game Changer as well.
The American is not the only Intel Extreme Masters World Champion to be featured in this campaing. Come back in a few days to find out who else's face will grace an Intel poster in 2010."
