ImageGroup A has concluded, seeing a three-way tie between EG, iDemise and mousesports, which has resulted in a replay between the two American teams.

The second day of Arbalet Cup Dallas 2010 is fully under way now, with the second group stage in progress. So far, groups a and b have finalised, but controversy has arisen in group a as a three-way tie has occurred between Evil Geniuses , iDemise and Mousesports .

After Evil Geniuses suffered a 19-11 defeat to iDemise, meanwhile mousesports took a 19-11 win over Area 51 Gaming , it left the group with three teams all on equal points. Usually the overall round differences would decide the fate of the teams, which in that case would mean mousesports would be packing their bags.

Group A Standings:
1st. US Evil Geniuses (Points: 6, RD: +24)
2nd. US iDemise (Points: 6, RD: +18)
3rd. DE Mousesports (Points: 6, RD: +12)
4th. CA Area 51 Gaming (Points: 0, RD: -54)

However, Arbalet use similar rules to WCG, which means in this case the round differences between the three teams would decide, meaning the admins ruling would be based on the following outcome;

1st. DE Mousesports (RD: +4)
2nd. US Evil Geniuses (RD: -2)
3rd. US iDemise (RD: -2)

As mousesports have a difference of 6 rounds in comparison to the others, they would luckily advance to the third and final stage, whereas because the two American teams have an equal round difference, they would have to play a rematch against each other to decide who goes through along with the Germans.

The first lot of games in groups C and D are in progress, the rematch between Evil Geniuses and iDemise will be played shortly.
