ImageCIS superteam UNiTED have lost their sponsorship from Arbalet after a string of underwhelming results. hooch told HLTV.org his thoughts on the matter.

UNiTED Russia has officially lost its sponsorship from Arbalet HLTV.org have reported. The CIS superteam of players from the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and the Ukraine did not impress with a 4th, out of four, placing at Arbalet Best of Four and then following lineup changes a 5th-8th at Arbalet Cup Europe and failure to escape the first group stage at ESWC.

Dmitri 'hooch' Bogdanov told HLTV.org as part of a statement on the matter:

"We were disappointed but still it was expected because we failed to live up to hopes of Murat Zhumashevich.

This man gave us everything a pro player needs to be number 1 but we could not make it and we feel sorry for that."

UNiTED:

RU Roman 'ROMJkE' Makarov
RU Eduard 'ed1k' Ivanov
KZ Dauren 'AdreN' Kystalbaev
UA Andrew 'B1ad3' Gordenskiy

The first real bad omen for the team who won Arbalet February was being unable to overcome Swedish mixteam Concode at The Gathering.

This marks another chapter in the troubled career of hooch, a player who has been a part of a number of teams acknowledged to have talent and the promise of big results yet have been unable to win the big tournament or maintain a high level of consistency. The Russian's time with Virtus.Pro, Amazing Gaming and now UNiTED followed this trend almost unerringly.
