After countless disappointments, including two 5-8 placements at ESWC 2010 and Dreamhack Summer, the fnatic team have decided to remove Björn 'threat' Pers from the lineup.

At the start of the year, Björn 'threat' Pers joined the fnatic side on a permanent basis after helping them in the World eSport Masters. From then on, things go to plan for the Swedish squad, as there only success would come from Arbalet Cup Europe. The team where last weekend at the ESWC 2010 finals, where they would be knocked out early in the playoff bracket by eventual winners NaVi.

Statement from Harley 'dsn' Örwall, to fnatic.com:

"Today we are parting ways with Bjorn 'threat' Pers. Our results lately have been a bit questionable and our play in-game hasn't been what it once was. We felt we needed a change to keep the team strong, fresh and motivated for the upcoming tournaments. We would like to wish Bjorn the best of luck and thank him for his time as a friend, teammate and player in Fnatic."

With the fnatic side down to four players and GameGune being just over a week away, the team will need to find a replacement as soon as possible.
