Mojawi drops koreans due to funding issues

ImageMojawi has become the latest casualty of monetary problems in the esports scene.

The professional WC3 scene was dealt another blow today with Mojawi releasing their Korean duo. After the team's CEO, Benoît Pedeches recently left the organisation it appears that they were left with no funding to pay the players' wages. Both Hyo Sub 'FoCuS' Eom and Sung Sik 'ReMinD' Kim are now teamless.

The duo will apparently look for a new team with the help of their manager, Kevin Vandini. However, he doesn't appear to hold out much hope of keeping them together. "There is probably no interested organization that can can pay ReMinD and FoCuS's salaries." Focus himself admitted that he will consider all serious offers. "I have no specific wishes for an organization," he told "As long as they pay me."

As for Mojawi, it seems that they will continue for the time being with this three-man lineup:

Robert 'OC-' Conners
Mateusz 'hG' Pietrzak
Diego 'Hrdz' Boels

Whether these players are un-salaried or just on lower, more affordable wages than the Koreans is unclear but they certainly lack the star power of the players who made top eight at ESWC. HG is a well-known mid level player, but his ability pales in comparison to the exiting players.
