The Team Dignitas Halo 3 squad has undergone a big change just a month before the first European Console League event. Long-time player and team captain Peter 'Adi' McGranaghan has stepped down from the line-up after spending more than two years in the side.

Citing his reasoning on the Team Dignitas website, Adi said: "I simply felt that I could not commit enough time to playing that I previously could. I did not want to hold the team back when they have so much potential of once again becoming Europe's best, instead deciding that stepping down and allowing a more dedicated player to take my place would be the best for both myself and the team."

He will take up a coaching role within the team and will be featuring at the ECL event and all future competitions.

Replacing Adi is former SK Gaming and Fnatic player Rasmus Andersson 'FragTaLe' Roberg. The Swede had been residing in team Amazing but has opted to join up with the Team Dignitas squad ahead of Europe's largest console event to date.

He said the following to the Team Dignitas website:

"I'm really happy to have been given the opportunity to represent Dignitas in future Halo events. I know from playing these boys in past events that they are sick and we can all learn a lot from each other. I'm confident that we will do really well in the events to come and with enough practice make Dignitas top 1 team in Europe, once again."
