ImageThe semi-final fixtures have set up battles for continental superiority.

The second group stage of the Quake Live tournament at ESWC 2010 is over. Three familiar faces are once again in the latter stages of a major tournament in Maciej 'av3k' Krzykowski, Shane 'rapha' Hendrixson and Anton 'Cooller' Singov, but they are joined by Tim 'DaHanG' Fogarty who picked up a surprising 2-0 win over Alexei 'Cypher' Yanushevsky.

All of the players dropped a game at one point or another, with rapha losing out to Alessandro 'stermy' Avallone over three maps, av3k falling to rapha, DaHanG falling short against Cooller and Cooller losing to Cypher. The Cooller Cypher game carried a big degree of importance for Cypher who, having won 2-0, would have advanced to the bracket stages but dropped the second map against his Russian friend.

rapha was in a similar situation to Cypher, but a win regardless of the score would have saw him go through. At 1-1 the SK Gaming dueler made his intentions for advancing clear on dm6, running out eventual 2-1 winner with a 21-1 scoreline.

The fixtures can be found below.
