The Ukrainian side of Natus Vincere reached the semi-finals by making light work of the game against fnatic, with the end score being 2-0. On the other hand, mTw secured their spot in the next round by taking an easy 2-0 win over FireGamers.

Map 1 - de_dust2

Starting as terrorists, Natus Vincere would take an early 3-0 lead after taking the pistol and following two rounds. The fourth round would see both teams fully gunned up and a push into B from Natus Vincere would result in a perfect retake by mTw leading to them taking the round. From then, the majority of the remaining rounds would go to Natus Vincere , with mTw only managing to take a total of 4 rounds in the first half. In the second half, Natus Vincere would once again take the pistol and following two rounds. The fourth round would go to mTw , who would then lose the next round and then the one after that, losing them the game.

Final Score: mTw 5-16 NaVi (4-11, 1-5)

Map 2 - de_tuscan

The second map would see Natus Vincere starting as counter terrorists this time and again take the pistol. In round two, mTw gambled by buying AK's and Deagles, only to fail and hand Natus Vincere the round and better guns. From then on, Natus Vincere would open a small, but after some strong play, rounds would be exchanged and the Danes would take the half 8-7 to mTw .

Facing an uphill task, mTw started the half by once again losing the pistol and the usual following two rounds, making things even harder for the side. Round four would go to mTw , but they would then lose the following two rounds. Like in the first half, rounds would be exchanged, with a the only highlight coming from an eco from mTw. The eco wouldn't do much for mTw as Natus Vincere would open a lead up to a point they where on match point. Down but not out, mTw pulled of another eco and took the next round, taking the game into overtime.

For the first time in the match, mTw would take the first round of the half, only this time in overtime. They would take the second round but then lose the third. The second half of overtime would see mTw take the first round again. Only needing one more, mTw sadly then lost the second round and blew the chance at winning by losing the third.

In the second overtime, Natus Vincere moved up a gear, by taking the first two rounds and losing the third. They then would put pressure on mTw by winning the first round of the second half, only to lose the second round thanks to three crucial opening kills by minet. With a bit more momentum built up, mTw finished the half of by taking the third round, forcing the game into a third overtime.

As terrorists, mTw got off to a good start thanks to two opening kills from trace, taking the first round. The second round went in favour of mTw again, only they would lose the third. In the second half, mTw would pile on the pressure by winning the first round, but end up losing the second. Thankfully, the game would end after a 2-1 clutch by minet lead to mTw taking the game and levelling up the match.

Final Score: mTw 25-21 NaVi (8-7, 7-8, 2-1, 1-2, 1-2, 2-1, 2-1, 2-1)

Map 3 - de_train

The third and final map would see Natus Vincere starting as CT on de_train, which is notoriously known for being biased to that side. The Ukraine's set out strong and took the first three rounds, including a surprise buy round from mTw . Two more rounds went to Natus Vincere until mTw stepped up and took round six. Quickly Natus Vincere took back the seventh round and continued to dominate by taking the next nine rounds, resulting in a 14-1 first half win. Straight away Natus Vincere got to work by taking the pistol, but almost lost the second round if it wasn't for some good teamwork from ceh9 and starix to get themselves out a 4 on 2 situation and win.

Final Score: mTw 1-16 NaVi (1-14, 0-2)

With that semi final now over, Natus Vincere will go to the final where they will face SK Gaming for the title of ESWC 2010 champions and a $36,000 prize. The final will be played tomorrow, click here to visit the match page and place a bet!
