A new league will be released on the 5th of July to focus on the North American eSports scene.A new league dedicated to the American eSport Scene has been unveiled by the Electronic Sports League entitled National ESL (NationalESL.com). The league has been developed in preparation for the upcoming Intel Extreme Masters Season 5 and will be launched on Monday the 5th of July.
Taking control will be Trevor 'Midway' Schmidt, who was the founder and former owner of gotfrag.com. Helping him will be John Clark and Steve 'xterm' Devaney who founded and ran AGP Tour, a well known Quake tournament.

In addition to the website launch on Monday, information on the Intel Extreme Master’s North American Qualification system will be revealed, as will as the North American LAN Finals and prize money.
