Fly and Xlord out of ESWC

ImageTwo players have dropped out of ESWC with just two days till the tournament.

Just days before ESWC begins, two players have dropped out of the tournament. Weiliang 'Fly' Lu fell prey to the age-old Chinese problem of getting a visa. The EHOME player's plight is rather more surprising, however, since his team-mate Jiankai 'Yumiko' Yu did manage to obtain one. On top of that, the DoTA team of EHOME also overcame the paper train obstacle.

The other dropout is Daniel 'Xlord' Spenst. Traveling from Germany to France is not a problem but he felt that he lacked practice for the event. "I would like to participate at the ESWC tournament," he told "but I lacked the preparation." Despite being removed from team Alternate recently, it appears that he would have received funding. However, he simply felt it was pointless to attend with no practice.

Xlord must have told ESWC beforehand, since he was not grouped although he was given a "seed" status. Fly, on the other hand, was one of the high seeds and is almost always one of the favourites for any event he plays in. He would have been in Group A alongside another of the favourites, Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen.
