When Team ALTERNATE announced the arrival of Kenyon 'KenaN' Temmel, they never mentioned if anyone would be making way, resulting in a six man roster. Recruiting the German EPS Rookie of the Season right before ESWC didn't make things any easier, either.

HLTV are reporting that a decision has been made and Bastian 'b4d' Gaffron will not feature at ESWC, paving the way for KenaN's debut. b4d has not officially left Alternate but, presumably, a decision will be made on the team's future after the event.

Alternate will be in group D come Thursday, when the tournament kicks off, alongside k1ck, eu4ia and mTw.dk.
