Season XVI of EPS Germany has finished and mouz, Alternate, n!faculty and TBH will be heading for the LAN finals on June 12th.The regular season of ESL's Electronic Pro Series Germany XVI has finished and the teams who have qualified for the LAN finals are set. Mousesports came out on top once again and achieved a perfect regular season, something HLTV.org reports has only been done twice in the history of the league, both other times by mouz lineups. mouz will be attempting to win a 10th, and sixth consecutive, title.
Team ALTERNATE placed second, something they've also done a number of times. Their win on the last day of play coupled with TBH's loss allowed them to move into second, though it wouldn't have mattered since seed #2 plays seed #3 anyway. Rounding out the top four are the familiar names of TBH.eSports and n!faculty .
Semi-Final matchups:
Mousesports vs. n!faculty
Team ALTERNATE vs. TBH.eSports
The LAN finals will be take place from June 12th to 13th in Cologne.
At the other end of the league table the teams who finished 11th to 14th will compete in a relegation tournament with four teams from the EAS (ESL Amateur Series) to decide who will make it into season XVII. The two lowest ranked teams in the league are automatically relegated to the EAS.
