fnatic are the champions of Arbalet Cup Europe 2010 following a convincing two maps to one victory over Na`Vi in the final.Natus Vincere may have come into the final of Arbalet Cup Europe 2010 as the favourites, with an air of invicibility, but it was the Swedes of fnatic who will be taking home the trophy. In a two maps to one victory which wasn't as competitive as fans might have hoped the Swedes secured their first event victory of 2010.
The first map, inferno, saw Na`Vi overwhelmed at every turn as fnatic smashed them with an impressive 14:1 terrorist side performance and a followup shutout 2:0 in the second half to seal a 16:1 first map scoreline. Next up was train and Na`Vi got back into the game as rounds went back and forth. fnatic took the first half 9:6 as CT but that left the door open for one of Na`Vi's lockdown CT performances. All the right rounds went the way of the Ukranians and they took the map 13 rounds into the second half to tie the series.
The third map was dust2 and with Na`Vi starting as terrorist it should have been on them to set the pace and decide how tough a second half fnatic would have. In fact it was the Swedes who dictated the pace as they took 11 CT rounds. Na`Vi were facing a huge task to pull out the second half and seven rounds in fnatic seized the title.
Yegor 'markeloff' Markelov was awarded the 'Best AWP' award and Christopher 'GeT_RiGhT' Alesund the 'MVP'.
Final standings:
1st fnatic - $15,000
2nd Natus Vincere - $10,000
3rd mTw - $6,000
4th PiNG - $3,000
5th-6th WeMade FOX , Mousesports - $1,000
7th-8th forZe , UNiTED Russia - $500

GJ,GG.
The whole tournament was very interesting...
I hope Na`Vi stays in the top (we all know what happened to MiBR)
Cheers
some say f0rest should of had MVP instead of GeT_RiGhT (even GeT_RiGhT admitted that he tought f0rest deserved it)
... but i disagree... i think GeT_RiGhT played like a possesed wolf with rabies. He just played amazing all tournament. But f0rest stepped up more in the later games. So gt really deserved his MVP imo.
