Winning any Asian WC3 tournament is an impressive feat. But Xiang 'TH000' Huang won ECL last week with only one map dropped along the way. Although most of his opponents were lesser-known Chinese players, the final was a 3-0 rout of Kejing 'Like' Li.

The orc player had shown some good performances against human players like Sky and Infi in recent weeks. He even managed to beat Xuwen 'InFi' Wang in the semi-final, 3-2. But TH000 proved to be a stage too far for Like, who will take home just under $1,500 USD. TH00's victory nets him almost $3,000 (2,929.42 to be precise).

One of the most interesting things about ECL, however, was the placings of some of the bigger names. Weiliang 'Fly100%' Lu went out in round one to Sai, only for the nightelf player to be eliminated in the next round by Fordream. Hyo Sub 'FoCuS' Eom also finished surprisingly low in the rankings, but at least his knockout punch was delivered by Infi.

Despite his loss in the semis, Infi did manage to seal 3rd place by defeating Nan 'ForDream' Xie in the consolation final. No replays are currently available from the finals but you can see how the bracket panned out over at CESPC.
