SK Gaming has released its Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 team due to results not in line with the standards demanded of SK teams.

SK Gaming has officially released its Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 team. The team had been playing under the SK banner since August of 2008 and during their tenure competed at two LAN events. At ESGN they finished in the top 10 and most recently they attended DutchGameCom where they placed 4th.

Management felt that the team were not producing good enough results or playing up to the standard SK Gaming expects of its players.

SK Gaming's Alcoholic gave this statement:

"After underachieving again at LAN we decided to drop the current Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Squad and cease all current activities in that area. I wish all the players good luck and well for their next step."

Its a shame, had a good line up with talent, really surprised we didn't see more results for them, GL to SK for whatever they do next.

about time, not enough consistency within the mw2 scene yet... aswell as the fact there doesnt appear to be any mature people in the scene bar about i dno 10 people :/

The game looks really good. But IW destroyed it by removing the dedicated servers. This game will never get big.

and the missing recoil and any weapon is imba. iw made a noobgame out of cod. the last good version skillwise of cod was cod 2.

Just to Mention I am on the hunt for a new side that will deliver results for SK Gaming. I really thought the last team could of delivered results but with the many changes and a few internal issues it was best to part with the team. Don't expect to see a team announced soon as myself and the SK managers are taking our time on this. Who ever we pick up will be the team that belongs to SK and deliver the results we want.

I guess so yeah, when you failed to post a news-post about your own team being released before a volunteer site did it.
I thought you cared about your teams ?
