The familiar name of Serious Gaming is making its way into Starcraft 2, according to a statement released today. Famous names from the WC3 scene will be brought together with a complete newcomer named Patrick 'DaBoO' Bolleboom (pictured).

The Dutchman is a zerg player with almost no gaming experience what-so-ever. But according to the press release "he is an international top tier contender in martial arts competitions." He is also apparently standing up well against players with years of professional experience.

But for RTS fans, the rest of the lineup is probably more exciting. Ex-SK player Violet is currently playing zerg under the SRS tag although he is apparently inactive and will be focusing on WC3 until the end of 2010. One man who won't have that problem is Sonkie, who seems to be channeling all his efforts into the terran race. They will be joined by the somewhat lesser known Dutch player, Sushilicious. An undead in WC3, he is currently playing zerg.

The team will be lead, predictably, by another Dutch RTS legend in the shape of Zerter. The complete Serious Gaming SC2 squad looks like this:
