ESL TV will be broadcasting a special all-star TDM Quake Live match tonight, set up by l1nkje and noctis.
Pierre-E 'l1nkje' Portier and Richard 'noctis' Gansterer's decision to arrange an all-star TDM game may end up doing a lot more than they originally thought.
The ESL TV crew have decided to feature the match on their weekly Quake Live show, a program forged for both the love and expansion of the Quake name. Regular hosts James '2GD' Harding and Joe Miller will be on hand to cast the night's action.
What initially started out as a fun showmatch may have a chance of turning extremely competitive now it's being broadcasted on one of the most high-profile esport streams. With a number of talented names on show one can expect a heap of new spectators, on top of the weekly viewers, tuning in to see the spectacle.
Below you can find the eight confirmed participants which includes three of the Fnatic CTF team that took third place at QuakeCon 2009 and the runner-up of the IEM 4 World Finals, Cooller. The teams will be decided by the two captains, l1nkje and noctis, before the game starts.
Players:
Pierre-E 'l1nkje' Portier
Richard 'noctis' Gansterer
Alessandro 'stermy' Avallone
Maciej 'zik' Jaku
Anton 'Cooller' Singov
Mikael 'PURRI' Tarvainen
Pelle 'Fazz' Söderman
Sebastian 'Spart1e' Siira
Update: Cooller is unable to play and is replaced by frozen.
The game kicks off at 22:00 CET on ESL TV.
