MYM says yet another goodbye to WC3

ImageMYM has closed the doors on yet another WC3 squad. This time, however, it looks permanent.

Life was already looking grim for professional Warcraft III. But today the skies turned greyer still when Meet Your Makers announced the closure of its WC3 division. Lucifron and Remind will both leave MYM altogether, while Demuslim will carry on as their Starcraft 2 representative.

The Spaniard, who has also played some semi-competitive SC2, was ostensibly released to give him more time to study. But even MYM's site admitted that "he will likely seek out the company of another organization in the future." No specific reason was given for Remind's departure but in his statement he cited the focus on SC2. "Since [MYM] said it's focusing on SC2 team I had to find myself new home," said the Korean.

The new focus on Blizzard's upcoming game was only thinly veiled on the official site. "Stay tuned as we will provide you more exciting news of the new fields of conquest!" said MYM's CEO, Nicolas Schulmann, leaving little doubt as to where those new fields will be.

MYM was home to an incredible amount of famous names over the years. But the lineup that ended them all by winning WCIP looked like this:
