A new face joins our Pro Evolution Soccer team - Sven 'S-Butcher' Wehmeier has joined SK Gaming after a stay in ButtonBashers.

Sven 'S-Butcher' Wehmeier, who took first place at ESWC 2007, won the German and European Championships in 2008 and picked up €6,000 by placing second at WCC Rome in 2009, is one of the best and most famous PES players in the world.

With the recent release of PES2010 Sven has already qualified for the finals of the German Championship, currently sits atop the German PesLeague and is in the grand final of the German Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 EMS IV Qualification tournament.

When asked to comment on his move, Sven said the following:

"I am very proud to get a chance to be a part of that great name in eSports. SK Gaming was always the clan I wanted to play for. I am sure that the partnership will be successful for both sides and I am looking forward to win a lot of trophies for me and SK Gaming."

Sven is showing no signs of slowing down after more than three years of competing and his first event under the SK Gaming banner will be at the Städteturnier Düsseldorf on April 17, where he will be hoping to increase his bid for a spot in the European PES Championship.
