ImageAnother weekend, another Zotac cup and another chance to pick up €100. The 23rd edition proved easy pickings for Cypher as he cruised to victory.

The Zotac cup offers Quake Live players the chance at some quick cash, providing they have the skills to earn it. Every Sunday some of Europe's best duelers arrive to refine their game and attempt to take away €100 for their day's work.

This weekend was no different, with Alexei 'Cypher' Yanushevsky, Kevin 'Strenx' Baeza, Michael 'mAdix' Hindersson and more all checking in to the dismay of attending amateurs.

Cypher stormed to the grand final without dropping a single map along the way. Although his route wasn't as tough as that of Strenx's, who had to take down Marcel 'k1llsen' Paul, Gareth 'GaRpY' Marshall and Cypher's Serious Gaming team-mate Adrien 'burnedd' Denis, it didn't stop him from dominating the final.

The grand final finished three games to one in favor of Cypher, an expected result for many. After a disappointing fourth place finish at the IEM 4 World Championships, a series of cup wins ahead of Quake Live's new season could do the world of good for the European champ.

Although, every other participating dueler in future cups will be thinking the same thing for themselves. Check back here or on the Zotac website every weekend to keep up with the happenings.
