Blizzard Entertainment has now released a new patch that features few but significant balance changes.

Blizzard Entertainment has now released a new patch that features few but significant balance changes.Thus far, three out of the four patches for StarCraft II released have focused exclusively upon balancing the sequel to the levels achieved by its predecessor. The fourth patch was a small cosmetic update for South Koreans to focus upon added support to display game ratings on the F10 in-game menu. Meanwhile, all the balance patches thus far have focused almost exclusively upon macro protoss and terran adjustments, with the sole exceptions being the corruptor and infestor changes.
Unlike the previous patches, the new version of the game has introduced exclusive support for the zerg. Per high recommendations from common users and media personalities alike, the changes have weakened core zerg buildings and units significantly. Specifically, the hatchery/lair/hive structure now has its burrow evolution being quite a bit more costly. The nydus network has less of an advantage, with its worm build time doubled. Furthermore, the hydralisk has a slightly longer cooldown time. Finally, the infestor has the most significant changes, with its neural parasite being reworked significantly, its burrowed movement speed reduced by a third, its like decreased by a quarter and an equalization of its threat levels.
The protoss, however, have received a major balance, as well. The warp gate ability from the cybernetics core has had its research time more than doubled from its previous minute of research time. Also, graphics fix for the "high" setting has been administered, ensuring that particles now render correctly.

•The limited duration of 10 seconds has been removed.
•Can no longer target air units.
•Cast range decreased from 9 to 7.
•Burrowed Infestor move speed decreased from 1.5 to 1.
•Infestor life decreased from 120 to 90.
•Infestors that are burrowed now have the same threat level as above-ground units for the purposes of automatically acquiring targets.
Bug Fixes
•Fixed an issue with High graphics settings that could cause particles not to render.
