BB flawless, relegation matches starting

ImageBB are living up to their billing as one of the favourites as they swept the group stage with five wins from five.

Button Bashers are amongst the favourites for practically every tournament the enter. But they are living up to that tag so far after they swept the group stage with a 5-0 record. On their way they helped to eliminate the other big favourite: compLexity Black. The Americans managed a 3-2 ratio but their losses at the hands of SK's German team and Evil Geniuses sealed their fate in the head-to-head system.

EG were the surprise package of this event so far, qualifying from what was arguably the toughest group. Except for BB's sweep, it was a massively unpredictable group which was undecided till the last round of games. SK Gaming SANSIBAR had just enough consistency to make it through the group but will be looking to improve their game when the relegation games kick off in just a moment or two.

The Germans are already on stage for their match against Team Dignitas who also barely qualified yesterday. Noonia and co are currently 1-1 against RMP's but it's hard to read anything into results against a 5-0 team vs a 0-5 team like iNNERFiRE . But Sansibar have already proven themselves against DIgnitas in the past and will probably fancy their chances. SK's other qualified team, SK Gaming ASIA have a bye to the second round thanks to topping their group yesterday.
