Danish AWPer Friis of Roskilde Ravens, the 3rd placing sensation of the IEM IV European Finals, has been interviewed by fnatic's website prior to the Global Finals.

Roskilde Ravens 's Michael 'Friis' Jørgensen has been interviewed by the fnatic website. The Dane, who is best known for his AWPing, talks about the upcoming IEM IV Global Finals his team will be competing in as well as their recent IOL performance.

Talking about his team's 3rd place finish at the IEM IV European Finals:

"Well one thing is sure, we are very satisfied with the 3rd place at Extreme Masters. Teams underestimated us, but still after some days down there we still managed to beat SK-Gaming, so we played really well. I still feel like we are underdogs and we really want to prove that we can have top placements at more events. MYM were also an underdog team, but managed to do well more than once and quickly came into the 'TOP teams' tier which is also our goal in Ravens."

Addressing the disasterous IOL performance which saw Ravens ousted early by Ledpc:

"First of all I think the tournament structure was not the best, you play single elimination, BO1, that means the most random team can win (in my opinion). We were really unlucky having to face Ledpc from Spain on de_dust2, unfortunately this was not our strongest map at that point and therefore a single elimination BO1 was really annoying, you have one bad map, you lose it, you're out. It can happen to any team. The event is forgotten and now we only focus on doing a lot better at the Extreme Masters World Finals."

Predicting a top 3 for the IEM IV Global Finals:

"We are really hoping that we will be in the top this time, so top3 will be:
[fnatic], SK, Ravens."

Ravens have been placed in Group B for the IEM IV Global Finals where they will face SK, KerchNET, compLexity, WeMade FOX and MYM.se. At the European Finals they were able to defeat SK two maps to one in the semi-finals after losing in the group stage to them. They also tied MYM.se.
