ImageTeam fnatic's in-game leader cArn sat down with HLTV.org to share his thoughts on the upcoming Global Finals.

The IEM Global Finals are eight days away from starting and pre-coverage continues to come out, this time with team fnatic ’s Patrik 'cArn' Sättermon. In an interview with HLTV.org, Sattermon shares his opinions on a variety of subjects including his thoughts on retirement from competitive gaming.

Asked if he was happy with his team's second place finish at the European Championships:

" After losing that close game we were far from satisfied. But looking back on that tournament we can be happy with our performance. We came from a long break and performed great overall, just unlucky we couldn't seal the deal when we forced mouz to go for a deagle round."

Comments about his new teammate threat:

" As stated before, he has played two tournaments with us so far where we have been very successful. I can also add that Bjorn brings a lot to the social part of the team and he is a really really nice guy to be around."

Discussion about a possible retirement in the near future:

" At this age you do think about it, but to be fair, this is so much fun being able to play intensive competition and being fortunate to go to amazing destinations. [Fnatic] has been so successful in the past years and as long as that continues I am pretty sure I will be a part of it."

cArn, and his team fnatic had a very successful 2009 where they went on to win multiple tournaments and dominate the competition in the early part of the year. As last season’s champions at the IEM Global Finals, fnatic will look to repeat last year's performance and become back-to-back champions.
