The final of the Silent Gamers Cup ended up being a rematch of the IEM IV American Finals as Tim 'DaHanG' Fogarty beat SK's Shane 'rapha' Hendrixson to place first. This time around DaHanG came from the lower bracket and had to beat rapha 3-1 and 3-2 to outdo his rival. Also on show in the cup was Quake 3 legend John 'ZeRo4' Hill who finished 3rd.

This is not the first time ZeRo4 has competed in Quake Live, despite his absence from the professional circuit. The American played the game at Quakecon in 2008 and finished 2nd in that tournament, behind cypher, beating rapha along the way. In Quake 3 ZeRo4's legacy is monsterous as he won a WCG gold medal, CPL Babbages, three Quakecon titles and finished 2nd at ESWC 2003.
