StarCraft II Beta System Requirements
It now seems as if Blizzard Entertainment has finally revealed the minimum system requirements for the beta phase for StarCraft II.

It now seems as if Blizzard Entertainment has finally revealed the minimum system requirements for the beta phase for StarCraft II.On January 29th, news was spread that the system requirements for StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty were released on the Blizzard Entertainment technical support page. The page featured minimum and recommended requirements with full details, including operating system, processor, memory, graphics, hard drive and DirectX. Blizzard contacted us to inform us that they had made an error and that those were not the correct requirements. Now, with the beta forums going live and the actual release being close at hand, they have the system requirements for the beta.
Fortunately, the requirements are fairly easy to come by and should play on most machines of today. However, they are not the final requirements for the full release of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty.
PC Minimum Requirements:
• Windows XP SP3/Vista SP1/Windows 7
• 2.2 Ghz Pentium IV or equivalent AMD Athlon processor
• 1 GB system RAM/1.5 GB for Vista and Windows 7
• 128 MB NVidia GeForce 6600 GT/ATI Radeon 9800 PRO video card
• 1024x768 minimum display resolution
• 4 GB free hard space (Beta)
• Broadband connection
*Note* the final requirements for Starcraft II have not yet been determined. Due to ongoing development the minimum requirements listed above are subject to change at any time. During this phase a Mac version will NOT be available, please check back.

I think that they get new keys every few days so it's best to check back now and then.
Low PC requrements for a strategy games are way more important than graphics. Cause of those "graphics" some potential SC2 master minds, overminds, and geniuses would skip this game cause of some retarded "My PC cant handle game good enough" thing. More players=competition=GOOD for Strategy. Leave graphs for MMOS and FPS! Not like it should be 2d tho ...
