HeatoN: "There isn't a better game out there!"

Counter-Strike legend Emil 'HeatoN' Christensen is hoping for the final version of CS Promod to be good, as he feels it's what the Counter-Strike scene needs despite saying there is no better game out right now.The man famous for his array of Counter-Strike accolades including a staggering nine CPL titles was the next person in the 'Syndicate interview series' seat by compLexity. With questions regarding how his team is doing out of the equation, the interview delves into a more casual look at HeatoN's lifestyle and his views on Counter-Strike as a whole.
A topic rarely brought up in interviews but often spoke about is why Sweden consistently throws out top Counter-Strike teams, and HeatoN thinks it is due to the game "being very popular" and Swedish internet connections: "Everyone has had amazing broadband connections for several years now, it really assists in the development as a player."
Why is Counter-Strike 1.6 still alive? "The reason for that is simple! There simply isn't a better game out there," according to the Swede.
CS Promod gathered mixed opinions from the professional community and HeatoN falls on the 'liked' side. "I actually liked the initial version of it," he said. "Lets just hope that they make it as good as we all want it to be because that is what the Counter-Strike scene needs right now."
He also cannot figure out why Valve haven't made Counter-Strike 2 yet, and thinks it's a "terrible move." Should they eventually create the game, will it back up HeatoN's claim of new games being fitted with "weird stuff?"

"My favorite esports year was 2003"
Where does HeatoN see esports at now? When compared to his favourite year of 2003, he likes how it is "getting bigger and bigger and has more professional tournaments than when I played," and ranks it "pretty close behind" his famous 2003 campaign despite not even playing.CS Promod gathered mixed opinions from the professional community and HeatoN falls on the 'liked' side. life is different and thats good!!!
Quake is an individual game, and so actually easier to learn than cs, which is team based. In Quake it all depends on yourself how u play, in order to be succesful in cs u need to be good as a team.
But i would quit CS promod for Sims 2, i really dislike the current beta, hope they really improve it.
HeatoN : I haven't really seen any player shine as much as I've seen players shine before when playing, but Gux impressed me during the last year so I would have to say him. Most overrated? I would like to keep that to my self! ;)
When leaving the new version this game is going to raise your level a lot because many players are waiting for this kind of thing, so that the CS level is even higher.
also says the WoW player LOL
I think it's great! You really need someones to take care of this problem that has effected so many players. The problem with this, however, is the status of G7. SK is pretty much running the whole show in their best interest and to be honest, I think [SK Gaming] should do right for themselves and pay out the money that they owe people before going after others.
AMEN
