ImageThe Silent Gamers Quake Live cup this weekend will feature a host of North America's top duellers fighting for $200.

The 32-man tournament carries a healthy first place prize of $200 and will see North America's best Quake Live players duel to raise awareness for the deaf and hard-of-hearing gaming community.

Shane 'rapha' Hendrixson will be up against a number of Quake's household names, including Tim 'DaHanG' Fogarty, John 'ZeRo4' Hill, Sander 'Vo0' Kaasjager, Brian 'dkt' Flander and recently confirmed IEM World Finals participant Thomas 'griffin' Wall. 16 unseeded players will be randomly drawn to play the seeded players, a good opportunity for those looking to move up in the scene to gain some tournament experience.

The format will be double elimination, best-of-three maps with the grand final being best-of-five.

The weekend-long cup kicks off on February 20 with QL.tv and djWHEAT providing coverage for all of the games.
