Hopefully should be there
DO NOT FALL INTO THIS TRAP.
He tried to hold more events in the past but never finishes them, JUST LIKE LAST YEAR. Instead they are all cancelled, and where does the signup money go? Exactly.
He ripped of alot of people...Also he ripped of Handewasser as a manager!!!
You have been warned, do NOT co-operate with this guy at ANY cost.
Also there been no scams where money been involed... so don't use the word scams unless there been one. thanks
Also The Dutch WCG Winner Handewasser got ripped off by him. As since he was a former manager from him. He scams.
No I will not PM you.
This guy isn't clean. He scammed people in the past.
Funny tho, you fight versus ESWC, CPL and GGL but you let this dude go. G7 should take action and remove this news item on the spot. (and you for defending this guy without a propper investigation)
I just hate people like you who are jumping on the bandwagon and talking shit that they dont know. We all knew qG and Everland, some of this stuff was a fail, but people change their attitudes. Everyone has to get a second change.
Since 2006 we see the same thing going over and over.
-> Dodgy website
-> Event suddenly cancelled
-> "Partners" never confirm they are there. Even if you are yourself the direct source.
-> people pay for it and never seen it return. YES THIS DOES HAPPEN, just google it (In Dutch!) and you will see quite some hits.
Any concerns ring the hotel up at this number: +31 (0)23 536 75 00
Contact page: http://www.hotelhaarlemzuid.nl/contact.aspx
Their event page: http://www.hotelhaarlemzuid.nl/activiteiten.aspx
For other people: You have been warned!
These kind of people give eSports a bad reputation and keeps it on an infant level.
Let me give you some quotes from the webpage itself:
- "Dutchgamecon is the Dutch premiere trade show for computer and video games and related products."
Really? Ever heard of Firstlook (www.firstlookevent.nl) or HME (http://hme2009.nl/)? The venue's of these events are multiple times the 1500 claimed by Dutchgamecon.
- "The show is owned by a large Dutch event company, the Dutch association dedicated to serving the business and public affairs needs of the companies, publishing interactive games for video game consoles, handheld devices, personal computers, and the Internet. For more information, please visit www.dutchgamecon.com."
WTFBBQ? Does this 'large Dutch event company' have a name!? A website? A LOGO perhaps? I do not think so. It's just the same old story as with Everlan.
But please, be as naive as you want. You're an adult.
At the end of the day there enough proof this is not fake, it down to you to believe it or not. It a console lan that is going ahead if you like it or not.
Would you mind posting some of these warnings? Ever been to firstlook? Did they have an xbox360 tournament for true esport teams? Did HME had xbox360 compo at all? (both no ;))
So.. WHAT is your point?
thats my point, you speak about something you know to less of
We are thinking about dropping the FIFA10 tournament for the first edition. We would like to set a deadline to the registration. It seems the FIFA10 community is not eager enough to participate in the tournament.
So for FIFA10 > 1 more day registration.
If by then a minimum of 16 players have registered we will continue with the FIFA10 tournament, if not it will be deleted from DGC1.
As re-pay we will top up the MW2 prize-money then with € 500,- to a total of € 3.000,- and add extra entertainment for the overall experience of the event.
