StarCraft Weekly With Artosis - Feb 11

ImageSK Gaming presents a new weekly feature of StarCraft Weekly, hosted by Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski. This week, Artosis explores StarCraft II and what players will likely shine early on.

Dan 'Artosis' Stemkoski starts off by reviewing the recent matches for the TeamLiquid Star League. First off, the match between Oleksii 'White-Ra' Krupnik and Payam 'KabaL Toghyan was very close, coming out as 3:2 in White-ra's favor. An even better match followed up between players Jian Fei 'IefNaij' Wang and Juan Carlos 'GosI(Terran)' Tena Lopez, with excellent reaver control. Iefnaij had an unpredicted comeback and made an excellent recovery that allowed him to move on. Then there was the one-sided match between Joseph 'Ret' de Kroon and Jose 'CaStrO' Castro with a complete 3:1 victory for Ret. However, Ret did not play to his full potential and had fairly sloppy ZvZ coordination. The final match was between Christoph 'Mondragon' Semke and Pavel 'BRAT_OK' Kuznetsov, which had a very surprising outcome, with Mondragon playing to a "perfect" extent.

For the upcoming matches this weekend, Blake "Chill" Muzar and Sean "Day[9]" Plott will be commentating on Saturday, while Artosis and Nick "Tasteless" Plott
will be commentating on sunday. As far as his predictions for the weekend matches go, Artosis believes that Ret will most-likely overtake Chia Yang 'SEn' Cheng, because Ret's been improving significantly lately. The match between Jian Carlo Joan Morayra 'Fenix' Alejo and Mondragon is expected to go in the latter's favor. However, Fenix does show some promise to his performance, so it should at least be closer.

All that may be said about Sunday is that Artosis and Tasteless will want to make everyone's Valentine's Day Night as romantic as humanly possible.

After having a brief mention of his interview in the PC Play magazine, Artosis took the liberty to answer his Twitter questions. This time, the questions he answered were basic questions, regarding ZvZ stategies, the comings and goings of the last year and the traffic in South Korea. After fourteen minutes of answering questions, Artosis left the remainder of his show to quickly review the South Korean scene and to discuss StarCraft II, considering that it will be released sometime within the next two weeks.

To discuss StarCraft II, Artosis began by estimating which players will likely be the most-successul. Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang from WeMade FOX is a likely candidate, considering how well be stood his ground against the FOX StarCraft players. Joseph 'Ret' de Kroon will most-likely shine, as well. He has shown great improvement over his professional gaming career and now rests as the best player in Europe.

Be sure to tune in next week for Artosis' next StarCraft Weekly.
