ImageStarCraft player and commentator Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski returns yet again to deliver a solid discussion about the eSports world of StarCraft.

To begin his examination of recent events within the pro StarCraft scene, Dan 'Artosis' Stemkoski kicks off with discussing the first four matches for the TeamLiquid Star League. The first matches were unusually one-sided, with Gregory 'IdrA' Fields, Chia Yang 'SEn' Cheng, Tyler 'Tyler' Wasieleski and Jian Carlo Joan Morayra 'Fenix' Alejo advancing with sturdy victories. The subsequent matches to proceed further down the bracket are expected to be highly-intensive, considering the strong charisma of the players within their match-ups.

Another major topic that is expected to invigorate the StarCraft scene is the removal of the first game from future Zotac cups. This signifies the impending release of StarCraft II- a title that is more than certain to take up its predecessor's mantle at the frequent tournaments. Given the recent buzz about the upcoming beta, the removal of the original StarCraft signifies the natural progression that will likely go through a major phase in the near future.

Another topic taken into consideration is IdrA's victory at ESL, which was a major ordeal, considering his opponents that comprised of Anton 'Kolll' Emmerich, Christoph 'Mondragon' Semke, Koget and Eugene 'Strelok' Oparyshev.

Some interesting developments concerning the South Korean scene emerged, as well. KeSPA released its current rankings, with Jae Dong 'Jaedong' Lee in the lead, followed by Young Ho 'Flash' Lee and five zerg players. According to Artosis' prediction, Flash will likely overpower Jaedong in the rankings, due to his improving performance from the harsh MSL tournament.

To further branch off of what is constituting Jaedong's recent activities, his enrollment into the Seoul Cyber University School of Multimedia Design is a point of interest. Jaedong is one of perhaps fifty eSports figures attending the university, but his enrollment is, according to Artosis, out of avoidance of military service. If he enrolls in school, he will not have to serve in the military and will likely be secured as a very wealthy individual who will spend the rest of his life involved with eSports.

Be sure to tune in next week for Artosis' next StarCraft Weekly.
