The semi-finals have concluded at the IEM Asian Finals with WeMade FOX and Ultimax Gaming coming out ahead. With their victories, both teams have qualified for a spot at the Global Finals held at CeBIT in March. The two teams will now go head to head in the finals for their shot at a first place prize of $11,000.

WeMade FOX vs Ultimax Gaming

In the semi-finals we saw a dominant performance by WeMade FOX showing us why they are the favorites to win the entire tournament. Easily winning two maps against Titans, and just barely dropping the other, strong performances by Kun-chul 'solo' Kang and Min-Soo 'glow' Kim were eminent in dictating the tempo of the game. If UMX will have any shot in winning the three game series, they will need to control these two players.

UMX shocked Immunity and the entire community with their dominant counter-terrorist performances in the semi-finals. Complete domination in back to back maps the underdogs showed they are able to compete at this level. It wasn’t one map luck, but will it be that easy against WeMade FOX?
